A new look for AMU

Things are brightening up over at Ave Maria University this summer. The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired campus had been pretty dark to begin with. Now they have been painting all the buildings on campus starting with the dorms and Library. An invasive and destructive ivy look- alike plant damaged most of the buildings. The creeping fig was removed and the walls that were damaged have been repaired and painting has begun. The AMU campus will complement the Ave Maria downtown “LaPiazza,” with warm and sunny Floridian/ Mediterranean colors. The colors will take some getting used to but I like it already! My youngest daughter came with me to get a good look at the Library this morning.
Happy Monday!
